FEEDER BASKETBALL

Beginning in 2019, Coach London began forming Deerfield and Glenview feeder teams. His goal is to prepare all of his players to dominate in high school.  All teams will practice 2-3 days per week with Coach London. Practices will be held locally beginning in October. Teams will play in 30+ games during the feeder season.

The game schedule will begin in October. Before winter break all teams will play in multiple One Day Shootouts to prepare for the upcoming season. Throughout the season we will also play in multiple two day feeder tournaments.  League games will be played throughout the week as well. All feeder basketball teams will have a diverse schedule while playing teams from all over Illinois. Practices are at Sports Center of the North Shore in Northbrook.

Players are expected to attend both tryouts.  After the 2nd tryout, teams will be emailed with practice and game schedules.  Coach London will be coaching all the feeder teams.  Season runs October-March.

Our experience at Man Up has been life changing. My son came in at 7th grade,  being a mediocre player. He was a left- handed, tall boy that literally only learned to stand in front of the hoop and just try to shoot from the same spot with the same hand. Coach London saw the potential in my son and challenged him to move around, change hands, and use his mind how to best complete the play. This is what we loved about Man Up. It is more than just a basketball program. Coach London places emphasis on the game as well as using your mind and understanding the "know-how" of basketball. What we loved the most was that he held interest in the players as people. He knew all of the birthdays, all the likes/dislikes of the kids, and made everyone to feel that they were part of the "Man Up" family. Man Up is more of an "experience" than just a basketball program. It it sets itself apart from any other sports program out there. Being part of Man Up has enriched our lives.

Thank you Aaron!!!!

Zach has spent the last two years with Aaron as his basketball coach.  Aside from being great at the actual coaching, Aaron truly cares about the kids and their development as good human beings.  Time with Aaron is always entertaining, and if it were not for going into high school Zach would happily continue on with him.  We are truly appreciative that we found him.

My wife and I are from Deerfield and we have two boys who have played for Man Up and Deerfield Feeder.  I can attest to the fact that our boys have become better basketball players but more importantly they have grown and matured under Coach London’s leadership. In addition our boys always come home happy after a practice or tournament. After 4 years with Man Up we could not be more pleased with this program.
